I know I didn't post anything about this beforehand, but I did go to AnthroCon 2009 this year. Although there were a few things that could have gone way better (kinda personal stuff, really), I had a pretty good time! Met a lot of good friends there, both old and new, and it was incredible to finally meet them face to face instead of having them behind a computer screen. :3 Hope to meet you guys soon at MFF! I'm definitely going to be making it over there, since it's less than an hour away.
I was workin' at the Artist Alley for both Saturday and Sunday, and business wasn't so bad, seeing that I haven't really been showing myself in FA or dA for quite a while. I learned that if you want to make lots of money, it's less about how good you actually are and more about how popular you are in the furry fandom. That, and more people were asking for inks and con badges, both of which I wasn't really offering at that time.
So... I was wondering. Do any of you guys have tips on how to get my name out more in the furry fandom so I would be noticed more? It would be great if I knew what I should be striving for in order for me to keep the sketch commissions coming in Artist's Alley. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!
I promise I'll post a journal whenever I'm going to an upcoming con. I bet I missed a lot of you there at AC, and I would love to know who would be going so we could meet in the flesh.

CURRENT RATES:
Avatars - head shot, full color - $15
Badges - character from torso upward, full color - $25
Clean Sketches - Slightly rough sketch done in openCanvas or equivalent drawing program - $10
Lineart - Cleaned up sketch, more effort put in weighting lines - $20
Colored lineart - Lineart with colors, your choice of cel or gradient shading - $30
Colored lineart with background - Colored lineart with specified BG. Let me know what kind of background is desired - $35
Additional characters above two in a picture will cost $5 extra for each character
RULES:
1) I will NOT draw any pr0nz, so don't bother asking me.
2) If you want me to draw something fetishy, I'm personally going to evaluate whether or not I'm open to drawing it (ex. macro genitals is a NO-NO).
3) I'll accept payment only through PayPal, and I will make exceptions only if there is absolutely no possible way that PayPal can be used.
4) All my art will be done digitally. That means I won't be sending any drawings or sketches through the mail.
5) I'll decide at what order I'll take the commissions, although it'll usually be first come, first serve. Although I don't like making lists, because then that would make people wait quite a while. X3
